Midlands Primary Learning Center, LLC was established May 05, 2009 by Benita Harrison McCullum and Sheria Williams Brown. Midlands Primary Learning Center (MPLC) is a South Carolina Department of Social Services state licensed, ABC Quality enhanced, Christian faith based, privately owned and operated learning center located in Lexington S.C

Midlands Primary Learning Center aims to prepare its students to excel as young leaders of tomorrow by combining its Creative Curriculum, which is tailored specifically for learning through play in children ages 30 months or younger and its ABEKA Curriculum, which is a traditional Christian based program that emphasizes biblical character building through rigorous teaching of numeric, alphabetical and analytical thinking of relative educational subjects. The Mission of Midlands Primary Learning Center is to provide quality childcare in a safe structured environment committed to taking a leadership role in childcare services, community services and promoting culture diversity. Our students’ success is driven from our Motto “Where the Learning Experience is Out of This World”.

My daughter attended Midlands Primary from 18 months until kindergarten. We love Midlands Primary so much, we were more than willing to take the 35 minute drive to and from our home. We were able to have a piece of mind to know that our child was in great hands. The staff was wonderful and the owners try their best to work with you in every situation. At Midland Primary, you're not just "parents," we felt as if we all were family! We could not have asked for a better child care experience for our child!

We were 1st time parents in a new town and I had visited at least 8 other daycares in the area. It wasn't until a coworker recommended Midlands Primary that I actually felt at ease. That was 7 years ago and we have since added two additional kids to the MPLC family. My very high expectations have been exceeded when it comes to the care and education of my children. When seeking a daycare for your newborn-first child it can be a frightening and daunting task. As my husband and I searched for the "perfect" people to care for our baby we entered daycare after daycare with our check off list. When we entered the doors of MPLC we felt a certain calm and a sense of ease that we hadn't felt at any other place. The children were warm and kind to us their visitors. When we left we knew this was the place. Since that day five years ago we have maintained our relationship with MPLC and two children later they are more like family. I believe that if you are in the Lexington area and want a daycare that will treat your child(ren) like one of their own look no further.

I love the kindness & compassion the whole team here have for my child. I feel safe dropping her off knowing she'll get as good care as if she were home with me. She gets excited every time I take her there and considering how particular easily bored my daughter is, that's saying a lot.  They also educate the children, instead of just sticking the kids in front of a TV all day.  All the employees and the owner are college graduates, some with masters or better. It's not just a daycare. It's a good preschool.  And they have a stellar record with DSS even for surprise visits. I would recommend them.
